Deze Nederlandse remake van de Italiaanse film Perfetti Sconosciuti brengt een groep vrienden samen voor een onschuldig etentje, maar al snel loopt alles compleet uit de hand. Een vriendengroep komt samen voor een gezellig diner. Alles lijkt prima, totdat iemand een “onschuldig” spel voorstelt: iedereen legt zijn telefoon op tafel en elk bericht of telefoontje moet hardop worden gedeeld. Wat begint als een grap, verandert al snel in een emotionele achtbaan. Geheimen worden onthuld, relaties staan op springen en niemand blijft gespaard. Is eerlijkheid echt de beste policy?
Recensie van Alles op Tafel
De kracht van Alles op Tafel zit in de eenvoud van het concept. Met een beperkt aantal locaties en een kleine cast wordt alles gedragen door de dialogen en acteerprestaties. Gelukkig stelt de cast niet teleur. Met namen als Linda de Mol, Ramsey Nasr en Lies Visschedijk spat de chemie van het scherm. Ze spelen geloofwaardig en weten de spanning goed op te bouwen.
De film is een fijne mix van humor en drama. Sommige momenten zijn ronduit hilarisch, vooral wanneer de personages ongemakkelijk proberen hun geheimen verborgen te houden. Maar er zijn ook emotionele scènes die je echt raken. Vooral richting het einde wordt het duidelijk dat de film meer is dan alleen een komedie: het is ook een kritische blik op moderne relaties en de rol van smartphones daarin.
Toch heeft Alles op Tafel een paar minpunten. Sommige plot-twists voelen voorspelbaar aan en de film leunt soms iets te veel op de bekende komedie-formule. Daarnaast mist het wat subtiliteit in de manier waarop de boodschap wordt gebracht. Maar dat neemt niet weg dat het een vermakelijke en soms confronterende film is.
Conclusie
Alles op Tafel is een vermakelijke, goed geacteerde film met een sterke mix van humor en drama. Het idee is simpel, maar effectief, en de cast weet de spanning goed vast te houden. Hoewel sommige elementen wat voorspelbaar zijn, blijft het een aanrader voor iedereen die houdt van relationele komedies met een scherp randje.
